Top Tip
If you see “ACR”, or “Apple Certified Refurbished” iPhones then snap them up. ACR phones are identified by a discrete “Apple Certified Pre-Owned” label on the packaging. Otherwise the phone, accessories, warranty and support are indistinguishable from a brand new – if fact there is a very good chance the phone is just that.
As the most valuable smartphone brand in the world Apple can’t really offer discounts on their products, but like all manufacturers they sometimes have excess or slow moving stock that they need to clear. We have seen some pretty strong hints that they use the ACR to allow them to sell new stock at a lower price without being seen to be offering a discount.
Sadly ACR iPhones are in high demand and aren’t always available but if you see them then you can be sure you are getting an “As New” iPhone at a great price.
